Is Severe Dizziness Controlling Your Life?

  •  Do you feel a sudden, violent spinning sensation when you roll over in bed?
  •  Are you constantly feeling lightheaded, nauseous, or off-balance?
  •  Have you stopped driving or going out because you fear you might fall?
  • Does looking up or turning your head quickly trigger intense dizziness?

Medication only masks the symptoms; it doesn’t fix the mechanical issue. Most vertigo and dizziness cases are caused by tiny, displaced crystals in your inner ear or poor communication between your eyes, ears, and brain. You don’t have to live with this fear. Specialized physical maneuvers and vestibular exercises can often resolve the issue entirely.

Advanced Neurological & Vestibular Expertise You Can Trust

Treating the inner ear and the brain’s balance system requires extreme precision and neurological expertise.

Dr. Faizan Hassan has over 15 years of experience treating complex balance disorders. Utilizing his international manual therapy certifications, he performs highly specific clinical assessments to find the exact root cause of your vertigo.

Whether your dizziness is caused by inner ear crystals (BPPV) or a pinched nerve in your neck (Cervicogenic Dizziness), Dr. Faizan applies safe, evidence-based repositioning maneuvers that can often stop the spinning sensation in just a few sessions.

How We Stop the Spinning and Restore Balance

We don’t guess. We use structured clinical testing to identify and treat your exact condition.

  • Clinical Vestibular Assessment: We perform specialized tests (like the Dix-Hallpike maneuver) to observe your eye movements and determine exactly which part of your inner ear is affected.
  • Canalith Repositioning (Epley Maneuver): If you have BPPV, Dr. Faizan uses specific head movements to physically guide the displaced inner ear crystals back to their proper place, often providing immediate relief.
  • Habituation Exercises: If your dizziness is caused by specific movements, we train your brain to adapt and ignore those dizzy signals through controlled, repeated exercises.
  • Gaze Stabilization & Balance Training: We improve the coordination between your eyes and your body, ensuring you can walk, turn, and bend without losing your footing.

Frequently Asked Questions About Vestibular Therapy

Can physiotherapy really cure vertigo?

Yes. In cases like BPPV (the most common cause of vertigo), physiotherapy is the primary and most effective treatment. Specialized repositioning maneuvers can often cure the condition in just 1 to 3 sessions.

Will the treatment make me feel dizzy?

During the assessment and specific maneuvers, you may experience a brief moment of dizziness. This is actually a good sign it tells us we are targeting the exact right area. The dizziness quickly subsides, leading to long-term relief.

How is Cervicogenic Dizziness different from Inner Ear Vertigo?

Cervicogenic dizziness comes from extreme stiffness or nerve compression in your upper neck (cervical spine), rather than the inner ear. Dr. Faizan treats this by applying manual therapy and heat to release the stiff neck muscles, which instantly resolves the dizzy spells.

Should I take anti-dizziness medication before my session?

It is usually better not to take heavy vestibular suppressants right before your assessment, as they can hide your symptoms and make it difficult to properly diagnose the root cause. However, always consult with us first when booking your appointment.
